Longmont Community Water Academy!
Saturday, September 13, 1:30-3:30pm
Longmont Senior Center, 910 Longs Peak Ave., Longmont, CO 80501
Colorado Water Stories & the City of Longmont were awarded a collaborative grant from national organizations, WaterNow Alliance and River Network, to host this free, family-friendly event designed to educate and inspire residents about Longmont’s water systems, conservation and the value of every drop.
Join us for a fun afternoon of interactive education and community connection!
You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how water travels from mountain sources to your home, learn how you can play a role in preserving water and have the chance to preview updates to Longmont’s Water Quality Report plus share feedback on how water quality information is best understood and communicated.
Free educational programming for children will be provided by Mimi Ferrie of Dandelion Arts Collective.
Spanish and ASL interpretation services are available by request during registration, and light refreshments will be provided.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with City staff and fellow residents, learn about the water you use every day and become part of Longmont’s sustainable water future.
Registration is optional, but helpful! Bring the whole family!
